World famous painting is found in which district of Bihar ?
Madhubani
The district is Madhubani — option 1, and the painting takes its name from the district itself.
What Madhubani painting is. Also called Mithila painting, it is a folk tradition of the Mithila region of north Bihar, practised for centuries by women who decorated the mud walls and floors of their homes for weddings, festivals and rituals. From the 1960s, after a severe drought, artists were encouraged to transfer the designs to handmade paper and cloth, which turned a domestic ritual art into a livelihood and carried it to national and international markets.

The subjects. Hindu deities dominate — Rama and Sita, Krishna, Durga, Shiva and Parvati — along with the sun and moon, the sacred tulsi plant, fish and peacocks, and scenes of courtly and village life. The kohbar, painted in the nuptial chamber, is the best-known ritual form. Styles within the tradition are distinguished as bharni (filled colour), kachni (fine hatching), tantrik, godna (tattoo-derived) and gobar.
Why the other districts do not fit. Darbhanga is part of the same Mithila cultural region and produces such painting, but the art is named for and centred on Madhubani. Madhepura and Samastipur have no comparable association.
Hence, the answer is Madhubani.
