The correct answer is

Barani

‘Tarikh-i-Firozshahi’ (completed about 1357) is a Persian history of the Delhi Sultanate from Balban to the early reign of Firoz Shah Tughlaq.

Its author, Ziauddin Barani (c. 1285–1357), was a courtier of Muhammad bin Tughlaq. He also wrote ‘Fatawa-i-Jahandari’, a treatise on statecraft that discusses zawabit (state laws made by the ruler), the duties of a Muslim king and the role of nobility — making him an important figure in medieval Indian political thought.

Muhammad Iqbal was a 20th-century poet-philosopher; Kabir was a 15th-century Bhakti saint-poet; and M. N. Roy was the 20th-century founder of radical humanism. None of them wrote this chronicle.

So the author is Barani.

Hence, the answer is Barani.
