RPF Constable 2018 Question Paper PDF (16-Feb-2019) (Shift 2)
The correct answer is

Amarkantak plateau

Amarkantak plateau is correct.

The Narmada rises from a kund at Amarkantak, on the Maikal range in the Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh, at a height of about 1,057 m.

It then flows west through a rift valley between the Vindhya and Satpura ranges and enters the Arabian Sea through the Gulf of Khambhat, making it the largest west-flowing river of peninsular India.

Trimbakeshwar near Nashik is the source of the Godavari, and Multai in Betul district is the source of the Tapi.
