The 74th Constitutional Amendment Act, 1992, is also known as the :
Nagarpalika Act
The 73rd and 74th Constitutional Amendment Acts of 1992 gave constitutional status to rural and urban local self-government respectively; both came into force in 1993.
The 74th Amendment inserted Part IX-A (Articles 243P to 243ZG) and the Twelfth Schedule with 18 functional items for urban local bodies such as municipal corporations, municipal councils and nagar panchayats. Because it deals with municipalities, it is popularly called the Nagarpalika Act.
The Panchayati Raj Act is the popular name of the 73rd Amendment (Part IX, Eleventh Schedule). District Planning Committees (Article 243ZD) are only one provision inside the 74th Amendment, not its name, and cantonment boards are governed by the separate Cantonments Act, 2006 passed by Parliament. So “None of the above” is ruled out too.
Nagarpalika Act option is correct.
