Select the dice that can be formed by folding the given sheet along the lines.

The correct answer is Only A, C and D

The opposite surface of the open dice can be found by the below method:-

  • Alternate surfaces are opposite to each other.
  • No two opposite surfaces are touched by side or by corners

So, by using the above rule we can find the opposite surface of open dice.

Given:

In figure (A): None of the opposite faces are seen together nor they are adjacent to each other. Thus this cube can be made.

In figure (B):‘6’  and  ‘4’  are opposite faces but here they are seen together which is wrong. Thus this cube cannot be made.

In figure (C):None of the opposite faces are seen together nor they are adjacent to each other. Thus this cube can be made.

In figure (D):None of the opposite faces are seen together nor they are adjacent to each other. Thus this cube can be made.

Hence,  ‘ A, C and D ’  is the correct answer.
