Understanding Piaget's Cognitive Development Stages

  The ability to mentally process sequences in reverse, such as understanding or stating numbers in reverse order (e.g., recognizing the relationship between '12' and '21' or counting down), begins to develop during this stage. It signifies a move towards more structured, logical thought processes.
• Formal operational Stage (Approx. 11 years and up): In this final stage, individuals develop the capacity for abstract thought, hypothetical reasoning, and systematic problem-solving. They can think about abstract concepts, consider possibilities, and engage in deductive reasoning. Skills like number reversal are typically well-established by this point.
