SBI has announced 50 vacancies for Junior Associates in Ladakh, distributed across different categories. Candidates must choose one local language at the time of application.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 20-28 years as of April 1, 2024. Relaxations apply for reserved categories.
• Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Final-year students can also apply provisionally.
• Language Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Urdu, Ladakhi, or Bhoti, either through a language test or by submitting Class 10/12 mark sheets showing study of the language.

The selection process includes a preliminary examination consisting of English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning, the Main Examination including questions from General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, and a Language Proficiency Test, conducted for candidates without valid proof of language proficiency.

Salary and Benefits

• Starting Pay: ₹26,730/- per month.
• Total Emoluments: Approximately ₹46,000/- per month, including allowances.
• Additional benefits include medical coverage, leave fare concessions, and pension under the New Pension Scheme.
