A correct MCQ gives 4 marks and a wrong one loses 1 mark, but a correct NAT question also gives 4 marks while a wrong NAT answer costs nothing, so NAT questions carry less risk than MCQs even though both are worth the same on a correct answer.

MET does not apply a fixed time limit per section, but it does apply a one-way lock: once a section is submitted, a candidate cannot return to it, even with time remaining in the overall 120 minutes.
