Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has released the MAHA TET 2026 notification on March 26, 2026 on its official website. Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching posts in primary (Classes 1-5) and upper primary (Classes 6-8) schools across the state. As per the official schedule, MAHA TET registration process started on March 27, 2026 and the last date to apply online is April 16, 2026, while the exam will be conducted on June 21, 2026. How to apply for MAHA TET 2026?

To complete the application process, candidates must follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official portal at mahatet.in or the official site of MAHArashtra State Council of exam (MSCE).
• Look for the “New Candidate Registration” link and click it to create your login credentials (username & password) after entering your name, mobile number, email ID and basic details.
• Use the generated registration ID and password to log in and then proceed to fill the detailed application form. In this, enter personal details, educational qualifications, preferred paper(s) (Paper 1 or 2 or both), and exam city preference.
• Upload the required scanned documents that include passport-size photograph, signature, mark sheets/certificates as specified in the notification.
• Pay the application fee online as per the category you belong to.
• Preview the filled application form carefully to verify all details, and then submit the form.
• Download or print the confirmation page or receipt for your records.
