Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching posts in primary (Classes 1-5) and upper primary (Classes 6-8) schools across the state. As per the official schedule, MAHA TET registration process started on March 27, 2026 and the last date to apply online is April 16, 2026, while the exam will be conducted on June 21, 2026. The exam serves as a mandatory qualification for government teaching jobs in Maharashtra and assesses candidates on child development, pedagogy, and subject-specific knowledge.
