Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, popularly known as KVS will conduct the recruitment for the session 2020-21 on various posts for teachers-to-be stationed all across its branches. KVS recruitment is one of the most popular recruitment opportunities among teachers. It attracts applications to various posts such as Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) and Primary Teachers (PRTs).
Usually, the recruitment exam is conducted during the month of December but due to COVID-19 this year, the exam has been postponed. An official notification is expected soon this year. Interested candidates should check the official website for more details and updated dates.

Further selection procedure:-
KVS will release an official notification two weeks prior to the examination date to announce the release of admit cards for the written examination. The admit cards will specify the time, duration and the centre for the examination to be conducted. Candidates need to check for their details and report in case of any discrepancies to the authority. It is also to be carried on the day of the examination to the test centre, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
Cut-off will be released by the official KVS recruitment authority to specify the minimum marks that must be obtained by the candidates in order to qualify the written examination. Those candidates who score more than the minimum cut-off marks will be eligible to appear for the Personal Interview. After which the final cut-off will be released and the candidates who qualify this list will be recruited for various posts for which they have applied for.
The merit lists will be released on the official website i.e. kvsangathan.nic.in and no personal communication will be made for the same.
Candidates can refer to the previous-year cut-offs to get an idea of the minimum qualifying marks required as per the subject they have applied for. Cut-off lists are prepared on the basis of categories, subjects and the posts available. Only the candidates who have applied for categories in their application form and have a valid certificate to prove it will be deemed fit to avail the special category cut-offs.
Candidates who are interested in becoming a teacher and want a government job should not miss this golden opportunity. This is a central government job that recruits eligible candidates on the basis of their performance in the written examination and the interview. Interested candidates must start preparing according to the latest exam pattern and syllabus before the official notification comes. The official notification is expected to be released in November 2020.
