Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission commonly referred to as JSSC is a state-level staff selection commission for the state of Jharkhand. JSSC will be recruiting group B and group C posts for the various departments of the state government. The commission has been established under the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Act 2008. The commission is headed by a Chairman and 2 representatives from the government departments.
JSSC will be releasing a notice soon for filling up the vacancies for the year 2021. Before applying for JSSC, candidates must check their eligibility criteria and the required qualifications. After verifying the eligibility candidates can fill the online application form and submit it on the official website itself. After submission of the application forms, candidates are required to pay a fee for any of the roles that they have applied for, failing in payment of the fees candidates’ application shall not be considered. Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click the “Important links” tab
Step 3: Under “Important links” tab, click on “Application form”
Step 4: Select the application form for the JSSC Recruitment which you wish to apply for.
Step 5: Enter your personal details and register your mobile number as well as your e-mail id.
Step 6: Once you are done registering, select “use the registration details and password to login into the portal using the specified JSSC Recruitment link to fill up the application form.
Step 7: After filling the personal details, upload your passport size photo and a signature and the caste/special reserved certificate (if applicable/asked) in the image/document format.
Step 8: Now you will be directed towards the payment slab, where you can select any one of the payment modes to pay the application fee.
Step 9: After paying the fees, click on FINAL submission to submit your application form and terminate the application process.

Application fee for the SC / ST / PWD category candidates is INR 200/-
Candidates who qualify the prelims exam will have to go for the further round of the Mains exam.

JSSC provides an admit card for all of the registered candidates through the official website only and must be downloaded from the official website only. Candidates are required to download the admit card after logging in from the registered id/password as generated during the registration process. Candidates are required to download the admit card as it contains the details of the candidate as well the details of the date of examination, venue of examination and the time of examination.
The selection process for JSSC is a 2 step process which include: Written test and Interview
Written Test: Candidates who have registered for the JSSC Recruitment, will have to download the admit card and appear for the written test on the date and time specified in the admit card.
Interview: The candidates will be shortlisted based on obtaining minimum qualifying marks set by the authorities for the various roles. The shortlisted candidates will have to undergo an interview round for obtaining the jobs for the respective role that they have opted.
Candidates have to check their results from the official website of JSSC only. The results will be declared in the form of the final merit list generated based upon the qualifying marks. Candidates obtaining the qualifying marks will be issued a date and specified time slot for the documents verifications followed by an interview.
Basic pay of INR 5,200-20,200 for the Lower Division Clerk position with a grade pay of INR 1,900/- is offered.
