For the INET exam, the basic eligibility criteria consist of education qualification and age limit. Candidates can apply only for one job profile for which they are eligible, based on their educational background. The detailed educational criteria and age limit is specified below :

INET Application Process

INET 2021 Application Process

Candidates who have not applied for INET 2021 and wish to apply but are confused about the application procedure to be followed, can follow the below mentioned while applying :

  • Go to the Indian Navy’s official website (https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/)
  • Candidates visiting the website for the first time have to register themselves by clicking on the ‘Register’ button
  • They have to register using any Govt/State issued Photo ID or using Aadhar Card
  • Next, enter the required details such as academic details, address, personal details, email ID and phone number.
  • Upload the scanned copies of relevant documents and set a password
  • Using the registered email ID and password set, login using the ‘Login’ tab on the homepage
  • Apply for the exam by clicking on ‘Apply Now’
  • All the details and information of the candidate will be collected from the profile built during registration and can’t be edited
  • Pay the application fee through online modes of payment
  • Take a print out of the application form and confirmation page

Application Fees of INET 2021

  • The payment can be done using Debit Cards (Rupay/Visa/Master Card/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking or through mobile wallets
  • Payment of application fees can be done through online mode
  • After successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated
  • Take a print out as per necessity

INET Admit Card

INET 2021 Admit Card

It is highly advised that you should download the admit card within a few days after it is released on the official website. This will save you from last minute hustle and chaos. Candidates will not be allowed in the exam hall without the hard copy of admit card. The following paragraph explains the step by step procedure to download the admit card of INET 2021 :

  1. Visit the official website
  2. Click on the Admit Card link on the homepage of the website
  3. Login using the registered email ID and password
  4. The Admit Card will be displayed on the screen
  5. Download the admit card and take a print out to be carried to the exam venue

After downloading the admit card, candidates are advised to check for any discrepancy in the admit card and report the same, if any.

  • The recruitment process consists of three steps : Written INET exam, SSB Interview and Medical Examination
  • The INET examination paper is divided into 4 sections
  • There are a total of 100 questions in the paper
  • Only the candidates who clear the INET exam will be eligible for SSB interview
  • The paper will be of multiple choice questions
  • There will be negative marking for wrong answers
  • Each correct answer awards 4 marks while for each incorrect answer, 1 marks will be deducted
  • The candidate has to score a minimum of 40% in each section

An online screening test consists of a single paper divided into 4 sections ; each carrying 25 questions and 100 marks. The examination will most likely be conducted in the month February 2021.

The SSB interview is conducted in two stages. The stages are as follows :

  • The candidates have to acquire the minimum cut off marks in the INET exam so that they qualify for the SSB Interview. The candidate has to score a minimum of 40% in each section of INET exam
  • Candidates who clear the SSB Interview, have to undergo a medical test in order to check their fitness levels
  • The final merit is prepared on the basis of marks in INET examination and SSB Interview

Hi Sourajit. Indian Navy Entrance Test which is also known as INET is a national-level entrance exam taken to recruit candidates as Officers rank in several branches/entries of Indian Air Force such as Executive, Educational and Technical. The shortlisted candidates are given Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission ad they are supposed to undergo training at the Indian Naval Academy in Kerala.
