Indian Navy SSR AA Syllabus 2026 is set and released by the Indian Navy for the written examination stage of the recruitment process. This syllabus is designed to assess candidates’ academic knowledge and basic aptitude required for SSR and AA posts. It mainly covers subjects like Mathematics, Science, English, and General Awareness. Every section of the subjects is of 25 marks. Each question has 1 mark for correct answer and has a negative marking of 0.25 marks for incorrect answer. The exam is conducted in online mode with objective-type questions. Candidates will have to appear qualify the Physical fitness test and fullfill eligibility criteria for the medical standards, as well, after the Indian Navy SSR AA exam.
Indian Navy SSR AA Syllabus 2026
The exam tests the basic knowledge of each subject at the level of the 12th standard. The syllabus mainly includes the chapters of NCERT of 11th and 12th standard in physics, chemistry and mathematics.

- The total number of questions asked is 100 and each correct answer offers 1 mark and every incorrect answer will have a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

Indian Navy SSR AA PET Pattern 2026
- Candidates must pass the Physical Fitness Test(PFT) for selection in Navy SSR AA posts.
- Under the test, candidates have to complete a 1.6 km run in 7 minutes, 20 sit-ups and 10 push-ups.
- Candidates who have been involved in extracurricular activities like sports, swimming will be preferred.
Indian Navy SSR AA Medical Standard Pattern 2026
- Navy doctors conduct a medical examination as per medical standards with rules and regulations for the students appearing for the Navy SSR AA Recruitment Examination.
- The minimum height required for the Navy posts will be 157 cms and the minimum chasts expansion should be 5 cms.
- Candidates should have good mental health and should be free from any defects, which affects the efficient performance of duties.
- Candidates recruitment should be done on the basis of merit list of their performance in written tests, Physical Fitness test and Fitness in Medical Examination.
- AA- The candidates will be recruited at all India levels and SSR candidates will be recruited on state-wise merit basis.
