Indian Army Technical Educational Qualifications 2026

  • Candidates must have passed their 10(+2) from the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as the main subjects.
  • The candidates need to have achieved an aggregate of 50%.
  • The candidates must achieve at least 40% marks in each of the subjects mentioned above.
  • Rounding off the percentage will be considered invalid. If the percentage is 49.9%, it will be taken as less than 50% and so the candidate(s) will not be eligible for the Indian Army Soldier Technical post.
  • The candidates must clear their 10(+2) board exams from a board that is recognized by the Government of India.
  • Only those candidates will be considered eligible for the Indian Army Technical post that have passed from an educational board listed by AICTE, CBSE, NIOS, and COBSE.
  • Even those candidates can appear for the Indian Army Technical Recruitment who are appearing for their 10(+2) board exams. Before applying for the former, however, the candidates must make sure that they produce the pass certificate of the latter and the valid mark sheet when they submit the documents.

Indian Army Technical Age Limit 2026

Indian Army Technical Medical fitness criteria 2026

One of the important aspects of the Indian Army is the medical fitness of its soldiers and potential soldiers. A candidate who wants to apply for the post must meet the following requirements:

  • The candidate has to be mentally stable and sound.
  • The candidate has to possess good eyesight and hearing ability.
  • The candidate must be able to read 6/6 with both eyes from a distance as shown by Martin’s lantern.
  • The candidate must be able to recognize all colours separately.
  • The candidate must possess healthy gums and at least 14 dental points.
  • The candidate must not be suffering from ailments such as piles, hydrocele, etc.

Indian Army Technical Marital Status 2026

Any married candidate who is above the age of 21 but below 23 will be seen as an eligible one. Married men who are below the age of 21 will not be considered eligible for the post. If a man is below the age of 21 and is married to the wife of his deceased brother will be considered eligible. The recruitment rally will take the final decision in such cases.

Indian Army Technical Work Experience 2026

A candidate who wants to apply for the Indian Army Technical post does not require prior work experience. He must produce his recruitment ID to the recruitment authorities if he does have an employment history. The ID will be produced to the authorities during the stage of verification of the document.

Indian Army Technical Nationality 2026

  1. All Indian male citizens will be considered eligible for the Indian Army Technical post provided they meet the other requirements as well.
  2. Other than Indians, a subject of Nepal or immigrants of Indian origin from Pakistan, Ethiopia, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Vietnam.
