Educational Qualification and Age Limit

The details regarding HTET 2026 eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

For Level 1- PRT:

• Minimum 50% score in class 10+2.
• Should have a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bacherlor’s in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

For Level 2- TGT:

• A graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% marks, combined with a B.Ed or Special B.Ed qualification
• Class 12 pass with 50% marks and completion of a 4-year integrated BA-B.Ed or B.Com-B.Ed program
• BA/B.Sc in specified subject (e.g., Social Science, Science, languages, Arts, P.E., Music, etc.).

For Level 3- PGT:

• Qualification in B.Ed is mandatory.
• A master’s degree in the specified subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate percentage.
