HAL Recruitment Salary 2025: Structure, Perks, & Responsibilities

During the training time, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited will pay INR 40,000/- in salary, which is determined by the 7th Pay Commission and revised rules, including the Pay Matrix. You are required to serve a probation period of one year on selection at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. 

Selected candidates must sign a Service Agreement Bond agreeing to work for HAL for a term of five years (excluding training and probation). The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has reduced the minimum payable stipend (Salary) rate. The honorarium for Starting in Hand is determined by the nature of the trade and educational qualifications. As a result, the starting wage for a HAL Apprentice is Rs. 7,000/-. 

The HAL ITI Trade Apprentice's first-year wage scale will be Rs.7,000/- to Rs.8,000/- (Approx). The Graduate Apprenticeship pays a maximum of Rs.10,000/-. These stipends can be increased based on the apprenticeship's entire length of time.

HAL Salary Structure

During the 52-week training term, candidates who are selected for the position will be paid INR 40,000/- by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. In addition, the candidates will receive a Dearness Allowance and a Canteen Allowance.

In addition, according to the Company Rules, bachelor accommodation is permitted during the training time. After completing the probation period, the candidates will be hired as Engineers in the Grade-II Scale of Pay, which ranges from INR 40,000 to INR 1,40,000.

HAL Promotion and Career Growth

• On completion of a certain number of years of service in the existing Group / Scale and possession of the requisite Educational Qualification prescribed for Promotion, an employee will be considered for promotion to the next Group / Scale, subject to the fulfilment of other prescribed conditions.
• Promotions are done based on Grade; there is a total of 10 grades divided. These grades are for employees who joined the company after 15 April 1997. 

To get a promotion either you qualify for the exam or gain experience. As HAL is a government company you will be promoted based on experience to the maximum level according to the degree you hold.
