FCI 2026 recruitment process is conducted by FCI itself and consists of multiple stages designed to assess a candidate’s mental, logical, and communication abilities. The examination is conducted in various phases – Written Exam (Phase 1 and Phase 2), Typing/ Skill Test, Interview, etc. All the phases hold different weightage and are designed accordingly.
FCI Phase 1 2026 will be an Objective type of question based test consisting of four sections, each carrying 100 marks and a total of 100 questions as shown below-

Note: There will be negative marking as well. For every incorrect answer, 1/4 or 0.25 marks will be deducted. FCI Phase 1 marks will not add up to the Final Result, as it is only a Qualifying exam for FCI Phase 2.
FCI 2026 Phase 2 Exam will be in objective form, consisting of 5 Papers of 120 marks each. It is an online mode of exam that takes 90 minutes per exam. Phase 2 papers were provided to candidates according to the post they applied for. The detailed syllabus is listed below-
