FCI 2026 Eligibility Criteria will depend upon different factors like Age, Nationality, Educational Qualifications, Number of Attempts, etc. Only eligible candidates are allowed to apply for FCI exam 2026 for various posts.
Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
Age Limit: The minimum age to apply for FCI exam 2026 is 18 years, and the maximum age is 28 and 35 years for Assistant Grade 3 and Manager posts, respectively, as on 1 January 2026. However, Age Relaxation also applies to some cases as listed below-

FCI 2026 Selection process happens in multiple stages as per the requirements of the post-
- Phase 1 – Preliminary Online Test- O An objective-type online exam on general topics, common for all posts, conducted only as a qualifying stage with no marks counted for final ranking.
- Phase 2 – Main Online Test- A post-specific objective examination whose scores are considered for the final selection and merit list preparation
- Skill / Typing Test (Where Applicable)- A qualifying test for stenographers, typists, and select technical posts, conducted only to assess required skills without affecting merit.
- Interview / Personal Assessment (Where Applicable)- An evaluation round for managerial and select technical roles that assesses communication, subject knowledge, problem-solving ability, and overall suitability, with marks added to the final score.
