The APPSC Group 2 application form 2026 will be accepted only online, from November 10 to November 30, 2026. Applications sent in any other mode will not be entertained. First-time applicants must complete One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) before applying, and should verify their OTPR details carefully because the information shown at the time of submission is used for the recruitment. APPSC Group 2 Reservation
APPSC Group 2 reservation includes vertical reservation for SC, ST, BC and EWS categories and horizontal reservation for PwBD, women, Ex-Servicemen and meritorious sportspersons. The vacancy-wise reservation for 2026 will depend on the Detailed Notification.
- SC, ST, BC and EWS: Vertical reservation.
- Women: 33⅓% horizontal reservation.
- PwBD: Horizontal reservation, subject to post identification.

APPSC Group 2 Local Candidate Eligibility
For APPSC Group 2, Local candidate eligibility follows Article 371-D and the Presidential Order, 1975, based on study or residence:
- Must have studied in the local area for 4 consecutive academic years before the qualifying exam, or resided in the local area for 4 years prior to the qualifying exam.
- Candidates not qualifying locally may be considered with 7 years of study/residence in Andhra Pradesh.
- Candidates up to SSC level must submit study certificates.
- Residence certificates apply in specific cases, such as degrees from open universities.
- Candidates from other states are ineligible for local reservation.
