AP Police Recruitment PET

For the AP Police Recruitment 2021 Physical Efficiency Test, the candidate has to complete a set of physical tasks within the allotted time given. This varies with each post. There will be relaxations for Women, Ex-Servicemen, and those with reservations. The usual Events in the Physical Efficiency Test are as follows -

  • 100-meter run
  • Long Jump
  • 1600-meter run

Male candidates will be scored as per their performances in the above-mentioned events. The Physical Efficiency Test usually carries a weightage of 100 marks. For certain posts, the Physical Efficiency Test is qualifying in nature. Before being able to attempt the Physical Efficiency Test, the candidate has to clear the Physical Measurement Test or PMT. To clear PMT, the candidate has to fit the eligibility criteria for the posts in question.
