The Commission allows Indian applicants to apply for various posts in the TNPSC Group 2 2026exam. Every candidate will be eligible if they are:
- A citizen of India
- a Nepalese or Bhutanese subject
- a Tibetan refugee residing in India permanently
- A certificate of eligibility which is issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu should also be obtained by a candidate who falls under category 3 or 4, or who is a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan
