The 11th edition of Exercise Garuda Shakti, a bilateral Special Forces exercise between India and Indonesia, began in Banyuwangi, Indonesia, on 27 October 2026 and is scheduled to run until 6 November. It involves personnel of the Indian Army's Parachute Regiment (Special Forces) and Indonesia's Special Forces. The exercise aims to improve interoperability, exchange operational experience and strengthen bilateral defence ties in special operations in jungle terrain.

What Is Exercise Garuda Shakti?

Garuda Shakti is a bilateral military exercise between the Special Forces of India and Indonesia, meant to build cooperation, understanding and operational coordination. The contingents exchange tactics, techniques, procedures and operational experiences.

Features of Garuda Shakti 2026

Participating forces:

India: soldiers of the Parachute Regiment (Special Forces) of the Indian Army
Indonesia: soldiers of the Indonesian Special Forces

Training will take place in jungle terrain, where dense vegetation and restricted movement can affect operations. It includes:

Jungle warfare
Obstacle clearance
Combat marksmanship
Mountaineering
Air assault training
Combat hardening training
Expert exchange

A validation exercise made up of practical operational drills will test the endurance and combat readiness of the contingents.

Why Is It Significant?

Ans. On submission of your mock test, your score and rank would be immediately generated. The ranking is dynamic in nature and it would change as more users attempt that mock test.

Ques. Can I attempt a previous year test more than once?

Ans. A previous year test can be attempted as many times as time you wish and you can review the solutions and analysis of the attempted tests as many times as you want.

Ques. Do you also provide solutions for the questions?

Ans. Yes, detailed solutions will be available to you after you finish the test. You will be able to access these solutions anytime after you have taken the test.

Ques. Will I get any report card after the test?

Ans. Yes, you will get a detailed analysis of your performance after submitting the test.
