Effective teaching aims to fulfill various learning objectives. These objectives are often categorized into different domains of learning, as described by educational psychologists like Benjamin Bloom.

The three primary learning domains are:

• Cognitive Domain: This involves knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. It deals with mental skills.
• Affective Domain: This involves feelings, values, appreciation, enthusiasm, motivation, and attitudes. It relates to emotions and beliefs.

• Programmed Instruction: Programmed instruction is a self-paced method that presents information in small steps and provides immediate feedback. It is highly effective for teaching factual knowledge and procedures, primarily targeting the cognitive domain. It has limited scope for affective development and no scope for psychomotor skill development beyond basic responses like button presses.

Considering the nature of each strategy, Role Playing stands out as the one that naturally incorporates elements addressing cognitive understanding, emotional and attitudinal development, and behavioral performance, thus fulfilling learning objectives across all three domains: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.
