Devipatan Division Districts in Uttar Pradesh

This question asks to identify which of the listed districts are part of the administrative region known as the Devipatan Division in Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh is divided into several administrative divisions, each comprising multiple districts. Understanding these divisions is crucial for administrative and geographical knowledge.

Analyzing the Districts

Let's examine each district mentioned:

• 1. Basti: Basti district is a significant administrative unit in Uttar Pradesh. However, it belongs to the Basti Division, not the Devipatan Division.
• 2. Bahraich: Bahraich is one of the districts that forms the Devipatan Division. This division is also sometimes referred to as the Gonda Division.
• 3. Balrampur: Balrampur district is also part of the Devipatan Division (Gonda Division).

Devipatan Division Composition

The Devipatan Division (or Gonda Division) traditionally comprises the districts of:

• Gonda
• Balrampur
• Bahraich
• Shravasti

Based on this, both Bahraich (2) and Balrampur (3) are included in the Devipatan Division, while Basti (1) is not.

Conclusion

Therefore, the correct option includes districts 2 (Bahraich) and 3 (Balrampur).
