• FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone): FSH is involved in stimulating the growth of ovarian follicles before ovulation. It is not a marker for pregnancy.
• PRL (Prolactin): Prolactin is involved in milk production. While it plays a role in the post-pregnancy period, it is not used to detect pregnancy itself.
• ADH (Antidiuretic Hormone): ADH, also known as vasopressin, helps regulate water balance in the body. It is not related to pregnancy detection.

Therefore, hCG is the hormone specifically used in pregnancy tests because it is produced by the developing placenta and its presence indicates pregnancy.
