Question

Three of the following four letter-clusters are alike in a certain way and thus form a group. Which is the letter-cluster that does NOT belong to that group?

(Note: The odd one out is not based on the number of consonants/vowels or their positions in the letter-cluster.)

RRB Technician 2026 Grade 3 Question Paper (7-Oct-2026) (Shift 3)
The correct answer is

SPM

Write the alphabet positions and the gaps in each cluster:

GEA: G(7) −2 E(5) −4 A(1)

OMI: O(15) −2 M(13) −4 I(9)

MKG: M(13) −2 K(11) −4 G(7)

SPM: S(19) −3 P(16) −3 M(13) — the gaps are −3, −3, not −2, −4.

Hence, SPM does not belong to the group.
