The correct answer is

National Institute of Immunohaematology

The correct answer is National Institute of Immunohaematology.

The ICMR–National Institute of Immunohaematology (NIIH), Mumbai, developed an indigenous, low-cost point-of-care test kit for early diagnosis of Haemophilia A and Von Willebrand Disease (VWD). Priced at roughly ₹582 against about ₹2,086 for conventional lab tests, it makes screening for these inherited bleeding disorders affordable and accessible beyond the few tertiary centres that currently offer it, and could detect tens of thousands of undiagnosed cases.

AIIMS is India's premier medical-teaching and hospital institution but did not develop this kit. The ICMR is the apex national body for biomedical research and funds NIIH, yet the kit was created at NIIH specifically — the institute named in the answer. The National Institute of Virology, Pune, focuses on viral diseases, not bleeding disorders.
