Question

In a row of 35 students, Ramesh is at the 24th position from the beginning. The last two students left. What is Ramesh's position from the end of the row?

The correct answer is

10th

According to the given information,

In a line of 35 students,

  • Ramesh is in the 24th position from the start.

Ramesh's position from the end = (35 - 24) + 1 = 12th

If two students leave from the end, it means the total number of students will reduce to 33.

Now, Ramesh's position from the end = (33 - 24) + 1 = 10th

Thus, the correct answer is 10th .
