JTET 2026 Paper 2 Social Studies Question Paper (01-Nov-2026)
The correct answer is

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurodevelopmental condition marked by a persistent pattern of inattention (difficulty sustaining attention, distractibility, not finishing tasks) and/or hyperactivity and impulsivity (restlessness, fidgeting, inability to stay seated).

The student described cannot sustain attention for long, is restless and cannot sit still. These are exactly the two core symptom clusters, inattention and hyperactivity, that define this disorder.

Autism is characterised mainly by difficulties in social communication and restricted, repetitive behaviour. Dyslexia is a specific learning disability in reading and decoding words. Locomotor disability is a physical impairment of bones, joints or muscles that limits movement, which is the opposite of the over-activity described here.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder option is correct.
