KSET 2020 Paper 1 held on 27 September 2020 tested candidates on general aptitude, reasoning, comprehension, and teaching–research skills. It aimed to check conceptual clarity as well as problem-solving ability. Candidates had to qualify both Paper 1 and Paper 2, the final selection granted eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor in Karnataka.
