The IB ACIO Grade II Executive 2023 Tier 1 Exam held on 18th January 2024 (Shift 2) was the first phase of the Intelligence Bureau’s selection process. This objective-type test assessed candidates in four sections: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical/Analytical Reasoning, and English Language. The paper comprised 100 questions for 100 marks, with each section carrying 25 questions. Candidates were given 60 minutes to complete the exam, and there was a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The test was designed to evaluate a candidate’s analytical ability, awareness, and problem-solving skills under time constraints.
