Kerala SET 2026 Exam Pattern
Kerala SET 2026 examination was conducted in offline mode using OMR answer sheets. Candidates were required to appear for both Paper I and Paper II. Each paper carried 120 marks and had a duration of two hours.
Paper I was common for all candidates and included General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude. Paper II was based on the subject selected by the candidate according to their postgraduate specialisation.

Paper I contained 60 questions from General Knowledge and 60 questions from Teaching Aptitude. Paper II generally contained 120 questions carrying one mark each. However, Mathematics and Statistics papers contained 80 questions carrying 1.5 marks each. There was no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted answers.

Paper II was completely based on the subject selected by the candidate. Therefore, the selected postgraduate subject accounted for 100% of Paper II and 50% of the complete Kerala SET examination.
