MPSC CSE: No Irregularities Found in CSE Says Mizoram CM Lalduhoma

Mizoram CM Lalduhoma said that no irregularities were found in the civil service examinations conducted by MPSC as per the report submitted recently. This report was conducted by former state chief secretary M Lalmanzuala, he concluded that there were "no irregularities" and "no marks were altered" in MPSC CSE as alleged by the candidates.

The report was made through an in-depth study and thorough investigation into the alleged irregularities in the conduct of CSE by MPSC last year. The inquiry gave a clear picture that the marks indicated on answer sheets and later erased using correcting fluids were exactly similar to those given on tabulation sheets.

MPSC CSE Exam: Process of Evaluation

Previously the organisation alleged that some irregularities took place in the conduct of MPSC CSE previous year as some candidates were found altered on answer papers and tabulation sheets using correcting fluid. But with an in-depth investigation, it was found that no irregularities were there in the civil service examinations conducted by MPSC.

To ensure independent evaluation the answer sheets of the candidates go through three-tier evaluation and evaluators are instructed to give marks on answer sheets except on tabulation sheets, according to MPSC officials. Sometimes, evaluators give marks on answer sheets, which they need to erase or remove before passing on the answer sheets to the next evaluator.

The marks given by the first and second evaluators on tabulation sheets are scrutinised by the third evaluator, who allots the final marks. The final marks are again scrutinised by the MPSC for a fair and independent evaluation.
