Meghalaya Police Recruitment notification has been released on March 04, 2024. There are 2986 vacancies this year for various posts. You can start filling application form from April 8, 2024. The last date to submit the application form is May 31, 2024. You can apply on the official website - megpolice.gov.in.

You will get selected based on your performance in 3 stages: PET (Physical Efficiency Test), written exam, and interview. The maximum number of vacancies are announced for the Armed Branch Constable/Battalion Constable/MPRO GD/Constable Handyman followed by Unarmed Branch Constable.

Ques. What is the education Qualification for Meghalaya Police?

Ans. This depends on the posts you are applying for. If you are applying for UB Sub-Inspector then a bachelor's degree in any discipline is required. if you are applying for Unarmed Brach Constable, Fireman (male), Driver Fireman (Male), Fireman Mechanic/Mechanic, MRPO Operator, and BN Operator then you must be 12th pass. For Driver and Handyman Constable, you must be 9th pass.

Ques. What is the age limit for Meghalaya Police?

Ans. Your age must be 21-27 years if applying for UB Sub Inspector and 18-21 for the rest of the post in Meghalaya Police.
