SSC Launches New Website; Advises candidates to register on ssc.gov.in

SSC launched their new website on February 17, 2024. Previously SSC functioned under the domain ssc.nic.in. Now commission moved from ssc.nic.in to ssc.gov.in.The commission has advised for fresh registration on ssc.gov.in. SSC New Website Notice has further informed that the old website will continue functioning through a link on the new website.

How to Register at ssc.gov.in?

Follow the given steps to register yourself on SSC New Website i.e. ssc.gov.in:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of SSC - ssc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the 'login or register' tab present on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on the 'New User? Register Now tab

Step 4: Enter all the required credentials, cross-check the details, and submit.

SSC New Website Notice Updates

According to the notice released by SSC, the commission has advised candidates for fresh registration on ssc.gov.in. SSC further informed that the old website will continue functioning through a link on the new website.

The SSC official notice states that "The Staff Selection Commission takes pride in announcing the launch of a new website which has been made live on 17.02.2024. However, the existing website will also remain accessible through a link on the new website."

SSC has also advised the candidates for fresh One Time Registration (OTR) on the new website as OTR done on the old version of the commission's website stands null and void.

SSC has mentioned the detailed instructions for one-time registration are available under the section 'For Candidates > Special Instructions > Instructions for filling OTR' on the new website, said SSC. The commission also added that "All applications for future examinations are required to be submitted online through a new website, i.e., https://ssc.gov.in/, only."
