The application process for KPSC Commercial Tax Officer is completely online. Initially, you need to register on the official website for One Time Registration and then you will be able to fill the application form. You will also be required to upload scanned photograph and signature. In the end, you must pay the application fees and submit the application form. It must be noted that there is no provision to edit the application form once submitted. Neither will there be any application correction window. The CTI consists of two exams conducted together. The first is the Kannada Language Test and the second is the Written Exam which is conducted a day after. The language test is qualifying in nature. The written test will be checked only of those candidates who clear the language test.

There are two papers which will be conducted in offline MCQ-mode. The total marks of the exam are 200 marks. There is a negative marking of 1/4th of the allotted marks for each wrong answer.

The syllabus of the language test is of SSLC level. They test the candidate’s proficiency in the language. On the other hand, written exam consists of different topics which require the main preparation by the aspirants. You must check the syllabus below to know more.
