The Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) exam is conducted by the UPSC every year. It is expected that the notification of UPSC CAPF 2021 exam will be released in April 2021 for recruiting employees for the position of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Central Armed Police forces (CAPF) such as in BSF, CISF, Sashastra Seema Bal, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, based on the selection test organized by the UPSC. The qualified aspirants of the exam will be able to appear for the PST/PET, medical test and personality test. The interested candidates should fill and submit the UPSC CAPF Application Form 2021 from April 2021 onwards (within the specified deadline). On the other hand, it can be predicted that the UPSC CAPF 2021 exam will be organized on 9 August 2021 (tentatively).

UPSC CAPF Eligibility Criteria 2021

One should check the eligibility criteria before they are going to appear for the UPSC CAPF 20201 exam.

Age Limit: The aspirants, who have been lying in between the age group of 20 years to 25 years on 1 August 2021.

Educational Qualification: Only the graduation completed students from any renowned University or Institution can apply for the exam.

Nationality: Only the Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the exam.

Other Criteria: The aspirants should mentally and physically fit to appear for the exam.

Paper I:

  • General Mental Ability: Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning and Numerical Ability.
  • General Science: Environmental Science, Information Technology, General Awareness, Scientific Temper, Biotechnology, Comprehension etc.
