Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is a government body that aims at recruiting applicants for civil services under the state administration of Tamil Nadu. TNPSC conducts the Combined Civil Services Examination-II (CCSE-II) for various posts under Group 1, Group 2 and Group 2A, Group 4.

Earlier scheduled to be conducted on 5th April 2020, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has been postponed due to the ongoing pandemic. The admit card for TNPSC Group 1 is yet to be released on the official website of the authority. There are specific physical qualifications that are made for the post of District Officer (fire and rescue) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (category I) ;
The TNPSC Group 1 exam has three levels. The first stage is the Prelims exam and it is compulsory for the student to appear and qualify this stage. It is an objective paper with 300 marks. The second stage is Mains which is subjective in nature and carries a total of 850 marks. The third stage consists of a personal interview and has a weightage of 100 marks.
