The SSC JHT exam is conducted in two phases; Paper-1 and Paper-2. Both the exams comprise a total of 200 marks and are allowed 2 hours duration each. The SSC JHT result will be based on the aggravate of scores the applicant scored in both the papers.

SSC JHT Exam Pattern

SSC JHT exam is conducted in two phases, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Check the following content to know more about the SSC JHT exam pattern:

Paper 1

This test is conducted in a computer-based mode through Objective type Multiple Choice Questions. The questions are divided into two sections of general Hindi and general English questions of 100 marks each. Every correct answer marked adds 1 mark each and every incorrect answer deducts a penalty of 0.25 mark.

Paper 2

This is conducted only if the candidate is qualified from Paper-1. This is organised in the conventional offline mode where candidates are asked to give descriptive answers. The questions demand essays and translations, which contain a total of 200 marks.
