Preparation Tips

  1. First of all, take a quick look at the syllabus and pattern of the exam. If you are the first-time aspirant then you have to go through and memorize the syllabus at the first stage of the preparation. On the other hand, if you are not a first-time aspirant then also you have to check the syllabus and pattern if there is any update. Check the syllabus and pattern of the exam only from the Official Website of the Exam. The Exam is MCQ based contains 150 marks and Time is 150 minutes.
  2. The next step of preparation is to gather study materials and notes for the exam. In this case, NCERT and CBSE books will help you better to understand the fundamentals.
  3. Now, Come to the main stage of Preparation for the Exam. Start focused Preparation from the very first minute after registration.

For the primary level I Exam there are 5 subjects:

A .Child Development and pedagogy,

  1. The First language (Hindi/English/Sanskrit/Urdu/Gujarati/Sindhi/Punjabi)
  2. The second language. (Hindi/English/Sanskrit/Urdu/Gujarati/Sindhi/Punjabi)
  3. Mathematics
  4. Enviourmental studies.

For the Secondary Level II Exam:

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy

  3. The Second Language(Hindi/English/Sanskrit/Urdu/Gujarati/Sindhi/Punjabi)
  4. Mathematics and Science
  5. Social studies/Social Science

Try to study all the subjects in a day. The practice is the main key factor to get better marks in Mathematics and Science. Try to solve previous year question papers to better understand the pattern. For Science, parts try to understand the basic fundamentals firstly and read basic books.

  1. Morning is the best period to start your study. According to a survey in morning time a human brain is most refreshed and capable to memorize 90% things he/she reads. So, try to study at the morning.
Section-wise Tips

RTET 2021 Section-wise Preparation Tips

  1. Language part Preparation Tips: This part aims to check your hold over the language. It will cover all the parts from the very first noun to tenses. You also have to deal with Unseen passages in this paper which is a part of Comprehension. Moreover, This paper can be little too long so try to practice your handwriting speed to get more marks in this paper. Another language part what you choose, try to know the basic of the languages and grammar part of the language. Try to solve unseen passages to enhance your language skills.
  2. Children Behavior and Pedagogy: It is Essential to know about Child Behavior when you wish to peruse your career as a teacher. This section tests how you know about and how to deal about children behaviour. Most of the question will be objective, so it is a scoring section. Try to score more in this section to get a lower rank. Check previous year questions to get help in this part.
  3. Mathematics, Science or Social Science/Environmental Studies: This section tests your logical thinking abilities and problem-solving capabilities. For Environmental studies, you can prepare your basic level of knowledge about nature or the environment. Go through previous year question set and model questions for better understanding.

For mathematics and Science try to study the fundamentals from NCERT or CBSE books. Practising more Problems can take you to your aspired goal.

  1. Mock Tests: After completing your basic books and completing the whole syllabus try to solve mock test papers before the exam. Mock test literally helps you to find your place where you can find your weakness and strength. Mock tests are mainly for evaluating yourselves. Every time you feel prepared to take a mock test and see where you stand and analyze yourself. Also, be careful about time. You will have to attempt 150 questions in 150 minutes. So practice it in mock test to complete all the questions in the time. Keep in mind every time you solve a question try to reduce the solving time.
  2. Examine past year question papers: Check all the previous year question papers you can check and solve it. These papers obviously help you to find the patterns of the questions and in which topics the examination gives more attention. You can assess yourself through solving these past year question papers. You can go through the papers and prepare for the high-scoring parts.
  3. Be Time Conscious: As the Exam has more questions in less time. Try to boost your speed to solve any question while preparing for the exam. Be time conscious to get better results.
  4. Some Quick Tips: As the Exam has no Negative marking try to solve more questions as much as possible. But one more thing Don’t waste your time on the question where you are totally unaware of it. Also, there are No section-wise qualify9ing marks you have to achieve overall qualifying marks.
