Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) or Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) is a state-level examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan annually for the recruitment of primary and upper primary teachers.

The application process was closed on February 20, 2021. The RTET Exam 2021 will be conducted on April 25, 2021. The exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi. The candidates who will qualify for the written test will be called for the RTET interview round.

For the qualified candidates, the conducting body will issue a certificate which will be valid for 3 years from the issuing date. The updates regarding the exam are published on the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan.

RTET 2021 Application Process

The candidates can apply for the RTET exam online through the official website of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education. Candidates are required to fill in the required details, fill out their preferred exam centres and pay the application fee.

The Application fee for the RTET exam has been mentioned in the table below, according to the levels of the exam and categories of candidates:

RTET Eligibility

RTET 2021 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria of the RTET 2021 exam has been released along with the RTET 2021 notification. As per the RTET eligibility criteria released in the official notification, candidates must be above 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit for the RTET exam.

For Primary Teachers, candidates are required to have Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks along with appearing or passed in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation along with appearing or passed in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education to apply.

For Upper Primary Teacher, candidates are required to complete Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) or equivalent qualification to apply.

RTET 2021 Admit Card

  • Candidates will be able to download the call letter for the RTET 2021 written test from April 14, 2021, on the official website.
  • Candidates failing to download and carry the RTET Admit card on the exam day will be denied entry to the examination hall.
  • The visible details on the RTET Admit cards are: candidate’s name, Date of birth, Photograph, Signature, Exam venue, exam schedule, hall ticket number, medium of the exam, level of examination and the guidelines.

RTET 2021 Exam Pattern

RTET or RTET follows a particular exam pattern every year. The RTET 2021 Exam Pattern is divided into two levels. While level I is for primary teachers or Teachers for classes 1 to 5, level Ii is for upper primary teachers or for classes 6 to 8.

RTET 2021 Result

Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan will release the result of RTET 2021 written test for both levels - Level 1and 2. To download the result candidates need to enter the login credentials i.e. roll number and date of birth.

The visible details on the RTET 2021 result are name, category, roll number, total marks secured by the candidates in each subject and overall marks of the candidate. Here is the minimum qualifying marks of RTET 2021 -

RTET 2021 Salary & Job Profile

The expected salary of RTET qualifiers will be INR 23,700/- as a 3rd Grade teacher. After the confirmation of the recruitment, the teachers will receive the salary as per the 10th Level in the pay matrix. Read the RTET 2021 Salary & Job Profile in detail.

There will be 2 years of a probationary period. During this time, the basic pay salary is given to the candidate without any allowances. After the confirmation, the teachers will be entitled to several allowances such as Travelling Allowances, Living Adjustment, Dearness Allowance (DA), Bonus and Urban damage supply

RTET Written consists of 2 levels. Both the level RTET Level 1 and RTET Level 2 examination, candidates have to get at least 60% of total marks to get considered to be qualified in the examination. However, the cutoff will vary based on the vacancies, the number of applicants and difficulty of the paper.
