The NTSE Stage 1 result will be released in January - March 2021 by the respective State/UT at the conducting authorities’ official websites. On the other hand, NTSE Stage 2 Results will be released by the authorities of NCERT at the official website of NCERT.
Several states release the result in the form of a merit list that includes the names of all shortlisted candidates. Also, along with the result, all states and UTs also release the NTSE cutoff 2021. The cutoff states the least marks a candidate needs to score in order to qualify for the stage 2 exam.

The results are displayed online on the official website of respective states and Union territories. Steps to check NTSE results:-
Step 1: Visit the official website of respective states or union territory
Step 2: On the home page, click on the “Programmes” tab and select “National Talent Search Examination“.
Step 3: Now search for the “NTS STAGE 1 Examination 2021” link.
Step 4: A PDF will open. Press CTRL + F and search for your name. If your name and roll number are there in the PDF then you have qualified for the exam.
Step 5: Download the PDF file for future reference.

The results for NTSE is declared separately for Stage 1 (State Level Exam) and Stage 2 (National Level Exam).

Scholarships will be awarded to students selected on the basis of the final merit list once the stage 2 result of NTSE is announced. NTSE qualifiers will be issued an award letter, certificate of merit, and details of the disbursement of scholarship in due time by the division.
About 1000 students will be granted NTSE scholarships every year. The amount of scholarship will vary according to the academic qualifications of students.

Ans. No, candidates can only check their results online. No scorecard will be sent via other modes.

Ans.NTSE Merit List for all the stages is purely based on merit. All candidates who clear the exam and secure the set cut off marks, will proceed on to the next stage. Candidates clearing stage 2 will be granted scholarships.
