SCERT and UTs released admit cards for Stage 1 individually. Some states such as Bihar, Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, Punjab, Puducherry have released the admit card of NTSE Stage 1 in online mode. On the other hand, others have issued the admit card for NTSE Stage 1 in offline mode. SCERT Karnataka, Punjab released the NTSE 2021admit card on January 19, 2021, and December 1, 2021, respectively on the official website. 

The NCERT will release the Stage 2 admit card in May – June 2021 as the exam has been scheduled for June 13, 2021. The e-admit cards can be downloaded from the NCERT website. The document will have all the information about the venue, roll no., date, and time of NTSE.

In case of any discrepancy in NTSE hall tickets, it should be brought to the notice of State Liaison/Chief Superintendent of state at the earliest. NTSE is conducted to search the talented candidates in subjects like Science, Social Science, Mathematics and General Studies. According to their performance, candidates are given scholarships.

Downloading Process

How to Download NTSE 2020 Admit Card

Admit card for the Stage 1 exam will be available in the month of October 2018. The document will be available at the official website of NCERT or can contact their State’s Liaison officer to obtain their admit card. Stage 2 admit cards will be made available to only those student who qualifies for it. Students can follow the steps given below to download their Stage 1 admit cards:

  1. Visit the Directorate of Government Examinations/SCERT official website
  2. Go to Bulletin Tab/Quick links section.
  3. Click on link for NTSE hall tickets
  4. Candidates will have to log in with school code and password
  5. The admit card/hall ticket will be displayed
  6. Download and take a print out for future reference
  7. Candidates are requested to check their details on the admit card carefully
  8. Students will also get their admit card by post.
  9. If a student does not receive her/his admit card, they need to contact the State’s Liaison Officer.

  • Once the registration is completed successfully, a Roll Number will be allotted to candidates.
  • NTSE call letters will be issued at the office of Chief Superintendent (the State Liaison Officer) of the concerned state or will be made available by post.
  • Admit cards should be obtained in advance so as to avoid any last minute rush.
  • Stage 2 NTSE admit cards will be mailed only to those candidates who qualify for the stage.
  • They will be directly mailed to the candidates via post by NCERT.
Note: From 2018 onwards, the document will be released on NCERT website as well.

NTSE Exam Day Instructions

Following are the various guidelines that candidates must follow while appearing for NTSE 2020 exam.

  • Candidates will have to answer through the OMR sheets.
  • Please use HB/2B pencils or blue/black ball point pen for marking. Do not use gel/fountain pens.
  • Make sure to colour/darken the bubbles completely. Do not just put a tick or a cross mark in the bubble.
  • Reach the examination hall well before the allotted time/start of the exam (at least 1 hr. in advance).
  • Candidates will only be allowed to carry their admit card and pens and pencils and water bottles inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates are not permitted to use any electronic devices like calculators, mobile phones etc.
  • Any candidates found with illicit materials will be immediately disbarred from writing the exam.
  • To know more about/query about the Stage 1 (state-level) examination you may approach the Liaison officer of your

There are two stages for the exam you need to qualify the stage 1 exam to get to the next stage. You can visit NTSE Admit Card and look at the procedure mentioned on how you can download your admit card.
