November 23, 2020: West Bengal CM, Mamata Bannerjee has informed that the state government will start the recruitment process for the posts of teachers. The recruitment drive will be carried on the basis of the WB TET exam.
The CM has also announced that as many as 20,000 candidates will be applying for the posts who have cleared the WBT TET exam. The candidates will be recruited to fill in 16,500 vacant posts. The WB TET exam will be conducted in offline mode and will witness approximately 2.5 lakh aspirants. The exam will be held for those candidates who applied in 2018.
