October 4, 2020, Hyderabad: Hundreds of students appear at their respective examination centers in Hyderabad for the commencement of the UPSC Preliminary Exam 2020.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Examination 2020 for Civil Services (Preliminary) was scheduled to be conducted on October 4 in 2,569 centers across 72 cities in the country.

Another student added that coronavirus and lockdown have caused a setback for many UPSC Preliminary Exams 2020 students who wish to appear for the examination.
Students were unsure whether the UPSC Preliminary Exams 2020 will be conducted or not. Everyone has prepared the best for the examination, he added. Students appear with a mask on their faces. Strict COVID-19 guidelines are to be followed during the commencement of UPSC Preliminary Exams 2020.
Earlier the examination was scheduled on May 31, 2020, but due to the coronavirus situation and lockdown restrictions, the exam was postponed to a later date.
Justice AM Khanwikar requested the Center Government to give one more chance to students who could not appear for the UPSC 2020 Examination due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
