The Union Public Service Commission has postponed the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) 2020 examination due to lockdown across India. The test was due to be held on 4 October. Earlier, the UPSC had postponed the examinations for NDA and CSE due to the pandemic.
The UPSC will announce the new dates related to the start of the EPFO examination on their official website later. In another notification, the Commission has released a newly revised calendar for the start of the other examinations held by it which had been postponed due to the lockdown. It has announced the dates of pending examinations including those for CSE, NDA, CDS, CMS, and CAPF.
The UPSC EPFO is conducted to recruit Enforcement and Accounts Officers for various government departments. This year, the UPSC has provided 421 vacancies for recruitment. The candidates can download the EPFO admit card 15 days before the examination.
