Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted CDS 2 2020 Examination for candidates seeking admission in Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and Air Force Academy (AFA). Officers Training Academy (OTA) registered candidates were not requested to appear for the examination.
UPSC CDS 2 2020 exam was conducted from 3 pm to 5 pm, under the strict guidelines for COVID-19 precaution. CDS 2 2020 maths question paper consisted of 100 questions, covering major topics included Number System, Mensuration, Geometry, Time, Speed and Distance, Simple Interest/Compound interest, Trigonometry, etc.
Candidates were given a duration of 2 hours to complete the questions. 1/3 marks were deducted as a penalty for wrong answers. As per the record, out of total registration, a total of 1,440 candidates appeared for the examination.

CDS 2 2020 examination was considered to be moderate as per students’ comments.
Questions were asked mostly from advanced mathematics. No calculations were needed in the examination, another student stated.
Another CDS 2 2020 candidate stated that the questions were moderate, however, few questions were considered to be tough.
Questions asked in the examination were based on the CDS syllabus. Compared to last year’s question paper and difficulty level, CDS 2 2020 examination was easy.
