According to the recent guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency, the exam of UGC NET 2020 will begin from September 24, 2020, to November 5 2020.
The NTA has already released the admit cards for the exams to be held on September 24 and 25, 2020.
Students can download the admit card from the official portal ugcnet.nta.nic.in by logging in with the application number and date of birth. Following the release of the admit card, the SOP guidelines to be followed at the exam center have also been issued.
UGC NET 2020 exam would be held for 81 varied subjects across the nation. The first exam will begin on 25 September 2020, for Adult Education, Chinese, Comparative study of religions, and 26 other subjects.
Likewise, on 25 September 2020, the exam will be for Comparative Literature, Criminology, Folk Literature, and ten other subjects.
Candidates will be required to visit the official website for the details of papers scheduled and their shift timings.
Keeping safety as a prime concern, NTA has also asked students to sign an undertaking regarding COVID preventive measures.
The undertaking must be signed by the student suffering from the listed symptom of COVID-19 during the last 14 days. They need to specify that they were not in close contact with any confirmed or suspected COVID-19 patient and other travel details.
Once the undertaking is submitted, students will be able to download the admit card. Candidates also need to add their traveling details and prevalence of any COVID-19 symptom on the hard copy of the admit card.
The admit card of the exam also includes the detailed instructions related to the exam, exam day guidelines, and other SOPs for COVID-19 prevention.
Candidates must wear a face mask, carry their admit card, and a valid ID proof to the exam center and follow the reporting time strictly, as shown on the admit cards.
