NTA carries UGC NET 2020 for day 9 on November 5 in online mode. The authority has successfully conducted the exam till date. The exam is held in 2 shifts. Check the exam pattern and related details here.

The examination process of UGC NET 2020 was started on September 24. The exam will continue till November 13. There are two shifts for the exam. The first shift begins at 9 am and ends at 12 noon whereas the second shift is being held from 3 pm to 6 pm. The exam on November 5 for 1st shift is induced for 5 subjects.

UGC NET 2020: Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned guidelines for the exam:

  • There is no prescribed uniform or dress code to be worn on the exam day. But there are specific instructions regarding the same. Candidates must not wear a dress with large metallic buttons, metal objects, and large pockets.
  • Candidates must attach the self-declaration form with the UGC NET 2020 admission form. 
  • Various documents including admission card, exam instructions, etc. must be printed and brought to the exam center. 
  • It is compulsory for the candidates to ensure that the undertaking is signed by their guardian.
