November 18, 2020: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the recruitment exam for Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) 2020 from November 19, 2020. Check the exam day instructions and precautionary guidelines here.

The Commission is set to conduct paper 1 of SSC JHT 2020 in offline mode. The authority has laid down various guidelines to be followed amidst the rising COVID crisis. Candidates are required to bring necessary documents (mentioned below) and various other required things for the exam.

SSC JHT 2020: Exam Day Instructions & Guidelines

Candidates must adhere to the following guidelines, failing which strict actions will be taken.

  • Candidates are allotted various time slots for reporting at the exam center. Candidates are advised to reach the exam center 10-15 minutes prior to the reporting time to maintain social distancing.
  • Aspirants following religious customs and traditions such as wearing metallic kadas in the case of Sikhs must report at the center prior to the reporting time. This will facilitate the checking process.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam center after the reporting time.
  • Documents submission will also take place at the time of entry to the exam center. Candidates are compulsorily required to carry various documents along with the SSC JHT admit card.
  • These documents include 2 recent most colored photographs and one valid ID proof. The ID proof could be from Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, PAN card, School ID, Service ID card, any other government-approved Id proof. 
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry electronic gadgets and various other items such as watches, books, pens, chits, magazines, etc. Strict actions will be taken if the candidate is found with such articles.
  • Appearing candidates are required to carry alcohol-based sanitizers with them.
  • The candidate is compulsorily required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing norms.
  • To ensure social distancing rules, a 6-feet distance will be maintained throughout the exam as well as outside the exam premise.
